Ann Liebau R.M.

My passion for birth was first sparked by working with pregnant women as a massage therapist. I then received training as a doula and began attending births, both as a volunteer with teen moms as well as with my massage clients.

Several years later, I began my midwifery education at the Seattle Midwifery School. This included clinical placements in Vancouver, rural Washington State, and a Chicago birth clinic serving the Hispanic community. After graduation I completed a one-month fellowship in a busy birthing hospital in Manila, Philippines.

 I became a Registered Midwife in BC in 2000 and returned to K-W in 2004. I enjoy working with women from diverse cultural social backgrounds.  I speak French fluently and have a working knowledge of Spanish.
